Lightning - Book One is about a boy named Matt who gets lightning powers from a deadly electric zap, which was almost fatal to him. After realizing his true power and his destiny, Matt then has to stop the evil mad scientist, Vick, from enslaving the world, and saving his best friend, Blake, from the deadly creatures that inhabit the Haunted Mansion.
